Serenity Madonia
Serenity is a Norwalk native with a lifelong passion for soccer and a heart for helping others. Her early days were spent on the pitch, competing in high-level club soccer, which prepared her for a standout four-year career as a starter for the Norwalk High School team. She earned an honorable mention award and played a key role in the team's two state tournament appearances, including a memorable run to the finals.
Serenity continued her passion for the sport at Grandview University, playing collegiate soccer, and still enjoys the competition of summer and indoor adult leagues.
Serenity's commitment extends beyond the field as she actively works towards her goal of becoming a firefighter. She's currently studying to be a paramedic and has successfully obtained her EMT license. When she's not focused on soccer or her career aspirations, Serenity finds joy in long walks, drawing, painting, listening to music, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Serenity joined Apex in January and has had the opportunity to coach Apex players ranging in ages from 9U to 19U age.
Serenity will be head coach of 15U-16U Girls for Fall 2025. In addition, she will be a staff coach with the 13U-14U girls and the 9U-10U Academy.
