Coach Jon Jacobson brings a lifetime of soccer experience to Apex! Jon grew up playing club soccer in the Iowa City area and was a four-year varsity player at Clear Creek Amana High School. His leadership shone through as he served as captain during both his junior and senior years, earning all-state honorable mention as a junior and first-team all-state honors in his senior season.

Jon is passionate about educating players and helping them grow their love for the game. He has prior experience coaching Apex's 11U and 12U boys teams. For the upcoming Fall 2025-Spring 2026 season, Jon will serve as the Head Coach for the 13U Boys team.

When Jon isn’t on the soccer field, he channels his creativity and attention to detail into his woodworking projects. Jon, a Norwalk resident, enjoys spending time with his wife and two big dogs Meek ( a White Labrador) and Missy ( a Great Dane).
